A note on Copyright
Copyright is the right to prevent others copying or reproducing someone's work. Copyright is one of the main types of intellectual property - others include designs, patents and trademarks. Intellectual property allows a person to own things they create in the same way as something physical can be owned.
NHS England has a license with the Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) which allows staff to copy from magazines, books and journals as well as digital material and from some websites (within limits and subject to certain exclusions).
For more information about copyright click here. http://www.cla.co.uk/copyright_information/copyright_information
You can also check to see what you can and cannot copy by clicking here. http://permissions.cla.co.uk/titlesearch.html
